Where Your Donation Goes
Your generosity directly funds case management, housing navigation, and emergency supplies. Donations help ensure every child has access to a birthday cake to celebrate their special day and milestones. They also support our Showered With Hope program — providing showers, hygiene items, socks, and referrals to anyone in our community who needs them. Donations help provide a safe, warm space where families and community members can relax, connect with vital services, and receive the case management, housing navigation, and support they need to move forward. Every contribution — large or small — makes a real difference in the lives of families right here in the Black Hills.
Ways to Support Families Facing Housing Instability
One-Time Giving or Scheduled Giving
Every gift helps transform lives in our community. Select General to support the overall mission of Foundations for Families of the Black Hills, including assistance for families with minor-age children experiencing or at risk of housing instability and our Showered With Hope program. You may also designate your gift directly to Showered With Hope or leave a note with your donation.

In-Kind Donations
Donate New Home Move-In kits, diapers, baby supplies, new undergarments and socks, Meal-in-a-Bag kits, Rapid Ride individual bus tickets, gift cards to local fast food restaurants, gas cards, or other essentials that families need most.
Volunteer Your Time
Give the gift of your time and talents. We welcome volunteers who want to make a hands-on difference in our community.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
Donor-advised funds offer a simple and flexible way to support our mission. You can recommend a grant to Foundations for Families of the Black Hills from your DAF directly to help provide housing support, case management, Showered With Hope services, and other essential resources for people in our community by visiting your sponsor's website or mobile app. Our EIN is 93-3411770.
